Join us for an engaging and interactive session that explores how our teaching styles and students' personalities intersect in the classroom. In this outdoor learning experience, we will delve into the ways in which our individual preferences—whether we're Thinkers or Feelers, Introverts or Extroverts—impact both the way we teach and how our students engage with content.
This session will focus on the challenge and opportunity of designing inclusive, dynamic learning environments where every student feels connected, regardless of how different they may be. We’ll explore how we can build classrooms that celebrate these differences, encouraging a rich diversity of perspectives that enhance both learning and community.
Participants will have the chance to explore strategies for designing assignments and assessments that accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring that all students have opportunities to thrive. Through hands-on activities in our newly built outdoor classroom at the CSI Challenge Course, we will reflect on the pedagogy of play and active learning, allowing you to experience firsthand how outdoor environments can support varied personality types and learning approaches.
Come ready to play, collaborate, and rethink the traditional classroom in this high-energy, participatory session!
