About me
Megan is a Professor of Chemistry and CSI's Idaho INBRE Campus Leader. She has taught at CSI for 16 years, teaching Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Essentials of Organic and Biochemistry, CHEM 100 and Introduction to Chemistry Labs. She is passionate about helping students to experience the joys of scientific research and find the right 4-year transfer school. Megan holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Rochester and an MS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her research experience includes microwave-accelerated reactions, solid-supported reactions on planar supports, and the total synthesis of the natural product kendomycin. Off campus, Megan can usually be found on a horse or in her garden.
