About me
Mark Daily is a Distinguished Professor of Physics at the College of Southern Idaho where he has taught for the last 25 years. He has served as the President of the Idaho Aquaculture Association and has represented the aquaculture industry on the Mid-Snake Watershed Advisory Group for the last 28 years. Mark was on the Hagerman School District Board of Trustees for 17 years. He served as the president of the Idaho Academy of Science and has been a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers for 25 years. While Mark was an officer in the US Air Force he did research on high energy laser weapons at the Air Force Weapons Lab, non-linear optics and molecular beams at the F. J. Seiler Research Lab, and atmospheric turbulence and optical communications at the Laboratory for Physical Sciences in College Park, Maryland. He served as the Deputy Chief for Advanced Weapons and Special Projects at the National Security Agency where he was the point of contact for all matters involving directed energy weapons. Mark was also a Physics Professor, the Assistant Varsity Tennis Coach and Physical Education Instructor in the Athletic Department at the US Air Force Academy.
