About me
Heidi Adams earned her Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan, studying enzymology, lipid chemistry, molecular biology, and crystallography. Heidi enjoys the human connections of helping non-majors see the relevance of science in CHEM 101. She makes time to play jazz piano and woodwinds, not only for her own enjoyment, but also because the challenge of doing something that doesn’t come easily helps her empathize with her chemistry students.
